Shelly Miscavige, a name that the Church of Scientology has been trying to hide for many years but her name has recently come out in the news due to Leah Remini’s recent exit of the sect. Shelly Miscavige, is David Miscavige’s (the current leader of the Church of Scientology) wife, however she has not been seen in public for 6 years. The Church of Scientology’s Attorneys told US Weekly that Shelly Miscavige "is not missing” and that “any reports that she is are false." However, despite these claims from attorneys therein lies the fact, that she has not been seen at all since August of 2007.So where is she?
The most recent information comes from Ex-Sea Org member, John Brousseau, who escaped from Gold Base, (which is the cults International Headquarters) in 2010. Before he left, he says that it was common knowledge at Gold Base, which is near Hemet, California, east of Los Angeles, that Shelly was being held at another base, the headquarters of the Church of Spiritual Technology (CST), a complex in the mountains above LA. When asked how it was common knowledge, Brousseau stated that he was able to observe the mail that came to the base and that any mail that came for Shelly, he noticed that an officer for the Religious Technology Center (an entity which controls and oversees the use of all of the trademarks, symbols and texts of Scientology and Dianetics) would stick it in the box that was picked up every day and taken to the CST headquarters.
Despite this information she still has not been seen, not even at the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes; a wedding that wouldn’t have happened had she not played cupid. Nor, has she been seen at any of the many events which the Church of Scientology holds.
